PCOS and Electrolysis
Dr. Ratner is the Chief Science Officer of Theralogix, a Washington, DC- based company, which markets micronutrient supplements with a focus on reproductive health. Dr. Ratner did his undergraduate and Master’s degree studies in nutrition at Cornell University. He received his MD from Tulane University Medical School.
Tiffany Graham, MPH, RDN, LDN

Tiffany is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master of Public Health in Nutrition. She has been the Vice President of Research and Education at Theralogix since 2003. Her specialties include Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, fertility, and general women’s health.
Nabil Khan
Chemistry on Anesthetics
Nabil Khan is an educator on Topical Anesthetics studying at the University of Victoria. With over 8 years of experience in the science behind numbing products, he is eager to share his knowledge. Core elements of the seminar include: the history and technical meanings of anesthetics, the roles of absorption, textures and ingredients, how to compare different topical anaesthetics specific to Electrolysis, innovative application techniques and how to apply practices to limit your liability and keep clients safe.

Ms. Dunbar, CPE, is a member of the AEA and president of the South Carolina Association of Electrologists (SCAE). Katherine will be speaking on creating an individual treatment plan for obtaining permanent hair removal. A plan, clients can truly see the light at the end of the tunnel with Electrolysis treatments.

Accounting vs CPA
Sara, also an electrologist, graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Minor in Accounting in 2000. She then received her Master's Degree in Curriculum Writing from the University of North Texas in 2005. In her lecture, attendees will learn the options available to them for business incorporation and will be able to decide which option is best for their business. They will also understand the differing roles of a small business bookkeeper and accountant and how both roles are invaluable for every entrepreneur and small business owner.

Safety Management and Emergency Preparedness at Emory Healthcare
Germain joined Emory Healthcare in August 2021 in the role of Safety Manager and is responsible for developing and executing strategies to reduce risk to hospital staff and patients. As an experienced Occupational Health and Safety professional, Germain has worked across multiple occupational health and safety environments in both large and midsized companies. He has cultivated safety cultures that reduced risk through leadership, team training, and education. At Emory Healthcare, Germain has helped to enhance the safety program of the hospital, as well as the emergency response program.
Patsy Kirby, MA, CPE
Building Your Future With AEA
Patsy will be speaking on what AEA offers the members Patsy holds Master's Degree in Education from California State University, Long Beach, CA. She also holds California Life Time Teaching Credential from UCLA. She has served several terms as president of the Southern and Northern Chapters of Electrologists Association of California. Kirby, has been instructor of Cosmetology and Electrology at Fullerton and Citrus Colleges in California. In her early career she taught at several private electrology schools. She has held several AEA Board and Executive committee positions throughout the years. She is presently the Director of the International Board of Electrologist Certification (IBEC).

Basic Infection Prevention for Electrologists
Aaron is a Registered Nurse for 13 years and Infection Preventionist for 7. He has held many roles including Director of Infection Prevention at a level 2 trauma center as well as Director of medical/surgical nursing unit. Aaron has his certification from CBIC for past 5 years and has focus in engineering controls, water management, central line access care, dialysis infection prevention, and process improvement. Aaron is published in electronic hand hygiene monitoring, reprocessing of N95 respirators during COVID19, and COVID19 outbreaks in dialysis populations along with national presentation on water management.
Sasha Ottey, MHA, MT (ASCP)
The Electrologist’s Role in PCOS Advocacy
Sasha is a Clinical and Research Microbiologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Howard University and a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to founding PCOS Challenge, Sasha was a contract research microbiologist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Sasha is Founder and Executive Director of PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, the leading 501(c)(3) support and patient advocacy organization globally that is advancing the cause for women and girls with PCOS.
